The annual ANZ inplant printers conference Nippacon had a firm focus on embracing change, when it took place on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland recently.
The conference looked at the seismic changes going through the inplants hosts, and how they can understand their evolving needs.
With inplants in the education sector under sustained attack from bean counters focused on non-print delivery the conference aimed to enable delegates to share strategies for growth, which included broadening their service offerings and exploiting the multiple opportunities arising in the in-situ communications world.
Conference delegates heard from OnePoint owner Kerim El Gabaili on transformation, speaking from his own experience of taking his business from being a printer to a marketing solutions supplier. He said “Print providers must develop a broader outlook, if they do so they can become indispensible marketing partners.”
Other presentations came from leading suppliers including Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh and TS Wilson.
