Richard Carr says they have been supplying the rollers to New Zealand companies and they have been very well received.

"We are supplying rollers press ready, which is a bonus for most companies and we are keeping rollers for all the major brands of machinery in stock here in Auckland, especially those often most urgently needed such as the dampening roller," he explains.

"We supply them up front, there is no need to take them out first for exchange and in many cases we can provide a next day service, especially in Auckland. Otherwise we offer a sea or air freight service from Sydney."

Richard says Brissetts rollers have been developed to cover a range of printing applications through the combined technology in association with companies in Germany, Japan and the USA.

"The alternate use of conventional and UV inks on the same press has required a special formation of compounds and the Westland Veromix compound covering Brissetts rollers eliminate the problems printers previously encountered by mixing the two types of ink.

"These rollers feature low swelling in UV inks, high stability in conventional inks and a low rebound at the gap.

"Westland is a high performance long lasting compound which is applied at Brissett's Sydney factory and is an excellent product."

For presses solely using conventional inks, the Brissett rollers for this application provide durability, stability and ease of cleaning.

The Westland Verograph series of compounds is now widely accepted for its outstanding dynamic properties making the rollers highly suited to the larger high-speed presses and many new presses from the major machine manufacturers are now being delivered worldwide with Verograph rollers, he says.

For offset web presses Brissett produces a full range of high-speed web roller covering which are dimensionally stable and cool running and hence trouble-free printing.
