MACtac has one of the most comprehensive ranges of self-adhesive labelstock in the world comprising 225 different self-adhesive constructions and three types of adhesive (solvent based, aqueous emulsion and hot melt).
The products are manufactured at MACtac Europe’s mill at Soignies, Belgium which has an output of two million square metres a day.
There are products for virtually every conceivable purpose from high volume commodities through consumer products to the most specialised of technical applications.
BJ Ball divisional manager Les Atkinson says all products being offered here are made from 100 per cent European raw materials, making MACtac unique in the NZ market.
MACtac does extensive research developing hi-tech products for the requirements of specific industries, particularly specialist high speed applications and Atkinson says BJ Ball will be able to offer some new products not seen before in New Zealand.
These include label products for food and beverages, cosmetics and toiletries, and point of sale right through to labeling for drums, tyres, pharmaceuticals and specialised security applications. Reclosable and direct thermal printing are label stocks on which MACtac has done extensive research and development.
