Domino Digital Printing Solutions took taken out the category of Best Label Printer at the EDP Awards.
Domino scored the award for its N610i 7-colour digital label press, which runs at speeds of up to 75 metres per minute with a print resolution of 600dpi.
Trimatt Systems supplies Domino solutions in New Zealand. Matt Johnson, managing director at Trimatt, says, “At drupa, visitors from New Zealand and Australia got to see how they could use the N610i press’s capabilities to improve their business. We expect the interest here to reflect what we have seen in North America and Europe where it has already sold 50 units.”
Philip Easton, director at Domino says, “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award after beating off some stiff competition and with the adjudicators recognising our low cost of ownership. The N610i has attracted a lot of international visitors to our stand at drupa, but we are confident that it will now receive even more interest after winning this latest accolade.”
The European Digital Press (EDP) Association is made up of 20 member magazines across Europe. The annual EDP awards garner 150 submissions across 60 different categories, and recognise innovation, quality, value, support and service.
Easton adds, “This award recognises the key attributes of our label press and highlights why so many small, medium and large multi-national label printers are now choosing Domino as their preferred digital printer.”
Domino employs 2600 people worldwide and has manufacturing facilities in China, India, Germany Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA.
