The new premises at 9 Orbit Drive, Albany, feature new showroom facilities and expanded warehousing capacity.
Meanwhile AM International has just two new HP Indigo digital presses to the Blue Star Print Group. One press will be installed at Nicholson’s in Auckland, with the other going into Wellington’s Format.
The company has also just sold a new HP Indigo 5000 digital press to Resolution Digital Print, which has premises in both Wellington and Auckland.
The newly announced sales continue the strong and steady growth of HP Indigo in New Zealand, with many of the company’s digital presses now installed around the country, both in digital and traditional offset environments.
Sales of its finishing equipment is also strong. It has recently installed a Horizon BQ150 perfect binder into Whakatane’s largest commercial printer, Mann Printing to service the large number of books with runs of less than 500-600 such as school magazines, journals and other booklets.
It has also installed a second hand Horizon Stitch Fold and Trim line and a new ECRM Mako CTP machine into H & A Design and Print, the largest and oldest printing firm in the lower North Island town of Wanganui.
