The company says the Anapurna: M2 is an extension to Agfa’s Anapurna: M family of UV curable printers, and adds that it is a feature rich industrial UV inkjet system, ideally suited for screen printers, commercial printers and sign shops demanding high quality production throughput.

Jason Bult, business development manager for Aarque Graphics, says, “The Agfa Anapurna: M2 features a range of advanced technologies that enable the simple and efficient production of high quality signs and graphics. Examples of these innovations include:

• A unique automatic vacuum control system designed for precise rigid substrate delivery at high speeds
• Shuttle safety sensors to protect printheads against head strikes caused through variable substrate thickness
• A static control system as a standard inclusion to ensure the best possible image quality through precise ink drop placement
• A heavy-duty belt fed delivery system for the reliable transport of a wide range of printable rigid substrates
• A media feed and take-up system as a standard inclusion for the efficient handling of roll-to-roll products
• An automatic substrate registration bar, and automatic head height adjustment for straight forward operation”

Bult continues, “The Anapurna: M2 is designed as a heavy duty production workhorse. Featuring an everyday production speed of 23 sqm/hr, maximum media load width of 157cm, and the latest Konica-Minolta 12 picoliter printheads capable of producing a photo-realistic print quality at 720 x 1440 dpi, the Afga Anapurna: M2 will be the UV curable printer of choice for high quality production orientated producers of stunning display graphics and signs.”
