The trophy was part of the ANZ Waikato Export Awards for outstanding Waikato businesses that were held in Hamilton this week.

Export New Zealand Waikato president Terry Blackler says the awards are an opportunity to acknowledge the skills and determination of the region’s successful exporters.

“Waikato business have always been renowned for their creativity, ingenuity and innovative nature and the judges comments confirmed the vision, passion and commitment of the entrants”.

Admark Visual Imaging has offices in Hamilton, Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua and Sydney.

Founded as a small screen-printing business in 1971, the privately owned family company has expanded into the self-adhesive label market and now provides innovative in-house printing technology solutions for the visual imaging requirements of its customers.

It was taken over in 1996, by managing director, Laurie Pilling, and has specialised in large format digital printing as well as self-adhesive and inmould label printing – including wrap labels and ticketing, computer cutting and screenprinting.

The company has won awards for its vehicle and aeroplane wraps, self-adhesive labels and promotional material. This year it won silver and bronze at the New Zealand Sign & Display Awards.

And in 2005 it won two golds at the World Label Association Awards 2005 (Brussels), a gold and a silver at the Australian Flexographic Technical Association Awards (AFTA), a gold at the SGIAA Awards, three golds and two highly commended’s at the Pride in Print Awards, a silver and two bronzes at the New Zealand Sign & Display Awards and at the Label & Tag Manufacturers Association Label Awards (Australia) it won Best in Show, a gold, two silvers, bronze and a highly commended.
