Hamilton-based Admark Visual Imaging has done it again, receiving two medals at the inaugural Flexible Packaging & Label Manufacturers Association Awards in Melbourne.

This latest success brings the company’s tally of international awards to 37. Laurie Pilling, managing director at ADMARK, says “I’m very, very happy with my team today. The FPLMA awards are judged on technical excellence and the effective and innovative use of media and equipment and materials.”

FPLMA awarded Admark the medals for inmould labels in the narrow web category: for the Genoese Fresh Basil Pesto label and the Disney Princess label. Pilling says, “I think it’s important to mention too that the work we submitted for this competition was taken from our every-day print runs; there was no extra special care taken for the competition – this type of award-winning, technically excellent work is what we provide our clients with every day, and I’m very proud to have my team recognised for that.

FPLMA officially launched in July 2016 to represent and promote flexible packaging manufacturers and label converters in Australasia.

Pilling says, “These awards represent a strong end to a successful year for Admark – earlier in 2016 we took out three gold medals and three highly commended awards at the national Pride In Print Awards, as well as winning Gallagher’s Core Brilliance Supplier of the Year award.”

Admark provides print solutions to a range of industry partners across New Zealand and internationally. The company says: “Enduring client partnerships are built on a foundation of quality products and on-time delivery, supported by world-class technology and award-winning expertise.”
