Komori Corporation has established a centre for printed electronics.
Situated on the premises of the company’s Tsukuba Plant in Japan, the centre will develop elemental technologies for printed electronics.
Komori views printed electronics business as a growth business. The company established the Printed Electronics Elemental Technology Development Centre to build a foundation for the development of elemental technologies and to create technological competitiveness in response to the rapid evolution of the electronics industry.
The facility contains a Class 1000 cleanroom, which requires a high level of air cleanliness and basic analytical equipment, providing an environment for the applied development of advanced printed electronics. In addition to its own elemental technology development, Komori says it will use this centre as a platform to promote open innovation through joint development with partner companies and industry academia, continuing to explore the potential of PE technology.
Komori adds that it will continue to contribute to society through advanced technology development for customer kando, which it defines as delivering customer satisfaction beyond expectations.
