eProductivity Software (ePS) has acquired UK-based Tharstern Group, a management information system (MIS) software provider, to extend its global presence in the SMB print market.
Tharstern is one of the leading providers of management information systems for the print and packaging industries. Since 1984 the company has been developing business workflow solutions to automate business processes and streamline workflows.
The company is based in Colne, UK and serves customers throughout the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and South Africa.
The acquisition furthers ePS’ inorganic growth strategy, solidifies the company’s position in the SMB print segment and continues to drive geographical diversification of the business while adding new technologies to its portfolio.
“We are excited to welcome Tharstern’s customers and talented employees to the ePS family,” Gabriel (Gaby) Matsliach, CEO of ePS, said. “We will continue to support Tharstern’s existing customers with the same enthusiasm they have come to expect, and we look forward to providing them with additional value by leveraging ePS’ global presence, industry know-how, and rich product portfolio.”
Tharstern’s team members will participate in advancing ePS’ cloud offering, growth strategy and driving expanded customer value.
“ePS have invested in Tharstern’s excellent reputation and success in the marketplace. Its suite of solutions presents some valuable integration opportunities for our existing customer base, but importantly, the development roadmap of Tharstern products will continue and benefit from collaboration. We are excited about the opportunities for our existing and valued customers, the benefits of which we’ll see locally,’ Tresta Keegan, managing director of Tharstern New Zealand, concluded.
