The trade show drought has officially ended with PacPrint opening its doors this week in Melbourne.
The city welcomed print community members with open arms after a long time with no major trade events, thanks to the Coivd-19 pandemic.
Josh Burns, member of parliament for Melbourne electorate MacNamara, opened the show in a ribbon cutting ceremony. Burns has a link to the industry, recalling how he worked in his father’s print business. He commented on the importance of industry succeeding in these times. He said, “We are looking forward to seeing businesses growing stronger this year and into the future.”
The show runs for four days with doors opening at 10am each day and closing 6pm Tuesday and Thursday; 8pm Thursday; and 4pm Friday. It features the latest technologies and trends across printing, signage, packaging and labels.
Over 100 exhibitors have signed up for PacPrint and organisers expect to see thousands of industry professionals over the four days. PacPrint co-locates with the other two major shows Visual Impact and the Labels & Packaging Expo giving visitors a broad spectrum of innovations and trends to soak up.
