With the Pride In Print Awards well underway, organisers see entries coming into the office daily.
Pride In Print Awards manager Sue Archibald says, “It is great to see such excellent work across so many areas being entered. This year’s changes to Structural Design and Sign and Display have seen higher interest in these entry areas and it will be great to see where we finish
“This year’s campaign has been designed for Pride In Print by the team at Wholesale Print in Wellington. The colour palette is different to anything we have done before and is designed to create intrigue with symbolism with subtle double meanings. Imagery is visually quirky and fun, paired with bright colours. This look will run throughout the campaign.”
The Pride In Print team is delighted with the positive feedback to date. She adds, “The team at Wholesale Print has been excellent to deal with and has provided all services to the Awards programme as part of the Supporters Club Packages on offer for the 2020 campaign. It’s just so great to be working with a team that has as much passion for the print industry as our Pride In Print team does.”
Those wanting to take advantage of the early bird entry rate have until tomorrow to get their entries in. After this, a late entry fee will apply when entering.
The major changes to the Pride In Print Awards categories are as follows.
The introduction of Structural Design Packaging – this is an exciting and innovative space that has seen growth over the last few years and some seriously exciting products entered.
The separation of all Packaging areas so entrants now can place work under: Flexible Packaging; Paper and Board Packaging; and Rigid Packaging on substrates other than paper and board, such as metal, glass and plastic
The refinement of the Sign and Display and Label areas to ensure work being undertaken in this area is fairly captured – there are many exciting products captured under these areas and judges are continually blown away with the variety of work entered – the changes reflect the continual changes the industry embraces.
The separation of Self Promotion into a stand-alone category
She adds, “Most categories have had small refinements as the Awards continue to evolve and capture an ever-changing marketplace. For any further information call the Awards management team on 04 237 0482.2019.”
