Hi-Tec Inks has announced the availability of the Adelco range of textile printers and driers in New Zealand.
Les King, director at Hi-Tec, says, “From its base in the UK, Adelco manufactures a range of textile presses and versatile textile drying machines, including both manual and automatic systems, with different capabilities to suit all business needs.”
In June at ITMA, Adelco debuted its Cyclone textile presses. King says, “Adelco’s range of Cyclone high speed automatic printing presses are based upon robust, heavy duty foundations to which the company fits bespoke lightweight aluminium extrusions and precision CNC parts. An advanced control system enables the Cyclone carousel to run pin-point accuracy at extreme speeds.”
The Cyclone range offers various high-speed digital hybrid options and registration of <+ 0.02mm. The company claims it can print more than 1000 pieces per hour. Features include three-way micro-screen adjustment; a load delay pedal; optional built-in LED lights in its print heads; lightweight CNC aluminium pallets with a tool-free quick-release system; and CNC print arms with pallet level tolerances.
Adelco says that a rapid-lock, high-lift screen system provides easy screen-cleaning access, as well as the loading of flashes into any print head position. It also has quick-lock, tool-free squeegees with angle adjustment and flood bars as well as twin chopper squeegee pressure cylinders to provide tool-free control of print pressures and an individual horizontal screen lift at each print head so that the pallets can remain at a constant height.
The Cyclone also includes auto start, stop, sample and rotovate flash programmes, and is PLC-controlled with an HD touchscreen interface incorporating advanced features, simple set up and full machine self-diagnosis.
