Bruce Craig, editor New Zealand Printer, says, “We will celebrate The New Zealand Printer Power 50 and Emerging 20 at a cocktail event in a few weeks. This gathering will give everyone a chance to let their hair down and enjoy each others’ company as we find out who has made the list.”
Brian Moore, group publisher for New Zealand Printer magazine, says, “This initiative gives people in the industry a great opportunity to recognose innovation and celebrate success. We are still accepting nominations but please don’t leave it too late. Last year, we had several people comment that they intended to make a nomination biut, in the busyness of their work day, never got around to doing it.”
“The New Zealand Printer Power 50 and Emerging 50 could not take place without the generous sponsorship of the platinum sponsor Ricoh New Zealand and we thank the team at Ricoh for their support.”
For any sponsorship enquiries, pleas contact Brian on brian@newzealandprinter.co.nz.
The New Zealan Printer Power 50 pays tribute to the leaders and innovators in the New Zealand printing industry who make it what it is today and guide it into the future. The Emerging 20 is designed to recognise those who have joined the industry in the last five years and made an impact. With the nominations now open for both categories, we encourage you to enter as many people as you like.
Ruth Cobb, general manager of PrintNZ, will chair the judging panel. She says, “PrintNZ is proud to be involved in the New Zealand Printer Power 50 and to lead the judging panel. This event is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the people in our industry that are influential in the success of the businesses they work in and make a positive contribution to our industry. They are continuously looking for opportunities to develop new products, grow their people and promote our industry and we believe that is worthy of celebration.
“In the same way that we celebrate our Apprentice of the Year, the New Zealand Printer Power 50 celebrates the substantial talent that has helped shape our industry and are setting a pathway for those that are just beginning.
“We are proud to support our industry and the people that make it great. Our thanks to both New Zealand Printer Magazine and Ricoh New Zealand who have supported this initiative in New Zealand from the start.”
The nomination form will also include a section for any members of the industry that would like to join the judging panel so we encourage as many of you to take part as possible to ensure the nominations are examined by a wide variety of industry professionals.
Judges and their company names will be published in the Power 50 edition of New Zealand Printer in November 2019.
As was the case in 2018, independent auditing firm PKF New Zealand will review the votes awarded by the panel to determine the final peer-voted top 50 for both groups.
A cocktail party style event will take place on November 7, 2019 to name the Power 50 and Emerging 20 with everyone concerned, and the judging panel invited
