Avery Dennison’s new innovation and knowledge centre in Pune, India will support customers, partners and employees across the South Asia Pacific region, including New Zealand and Australia.
The company says that label, packaging and graphics industry customers and partners from can go to the centre for their research and development and professional development needs. Darren Milligan, senior marketing director, South Asia Pacific and Sub Saharan Africa, for Avery Dennison, says, “The Avery Dennison Innovation and Knowledge Centre is made up of two key centres. The Knowledge Centre, in collaboration with our industry partners, is an end-to-end training facility across both conventional and digital platforms.
“The Innovation Centre features a highly qualified and connected research and development team with world class material science and analytical capability. Our investment to integrate these two centre into a single location will accelerate our product development and ability to deliver faster solutions to meet customers’ requirements.”

The company says the centre will create and will extend expertise to help label, packaging and graphic materials industry professionals with knowledge sharing and certification programmes.
