Self-adhesive material manufacturer Drytac has expanded its SpotOn range of printable adhesive films, with the introduction of SpotOn White M50.
Fuji Xerox is the exclusive distributor for Drytac in New Zealand. Grant Blockley, national print media specialist for Fuji Xerox, says, “Drytac has developed this product to provide greater opacity than the standard version. It is a 100µ (4mil) printable white matte monomeric PVC film, coated on one side with Drytac’s dot-patterned, removable pressure-sensitive polyacrylate adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a single-sided, siliconised clay coated Kraft release liner.”
He believes the new film will suit short-term indoor wall and window applications. He says, “The SpotOn range of high quality printable vinyls has been developed for the easy, bubble-free application of vibrant graphics.
“Drytac has added SpotOn White M50 to the product portfolio in response to customer demand for an easy to apply, printable film with greater opacity. It enables customers to overlay original graphics on different substrate surfaces without show through. Its light block properties make it up to 50 per cent more opaque than the standard SpotOn White product.
“It is compatible with eco-solvent, latex, and UV printing technologies, and is ideal for applications where easy, tool-free installation is required. It can also be repositioned, and cleanly removed within 12 months of initial installation.”
SpotOn White M50 will become available in New Zealand shortly.
