Agfa Graphics has produced an LED version of its Jeti Tauro wide-format printer.
The Jeti Tauro H2500 LED, Agfa’s 2.5m UV-inkjet flagship, uses an integrated roll-to-roll system with continuous and automated feeding, handling a range of flexible and rigid media, including several types of corrugated board.
Reinhilde Alaert, product manager at Agfa Graphics, says, “Equipped with UV LED lamps for the curing process, the Jeti Tauro LED comes with a number of economic and ecological benefits. LEDs have minimal heat output, for example, which allows for printing on thin heat sensitive media such as styrene sheets and rolls. They also ensure very stable bi-directional calibration and higher system up times (no warming up or cooling down time) on top of the significant power savings. All of that has a positive effect on the ROI of the system.”
The company’s other UV inkjet printers with LED curing that will show at Fespa include the new Jeti Ceres RTR3200 LED; the Jeti Mira 2732 HS LED; and the hybrid Anapurna H3200i LED
Agfa will also demonstrate its Asanti workflow software; its new soft signage Avinci DX3200 printer; and its LED UV curable inks. Alaert adds, “Avinci DX3200 features six colours (CMYKLcLm) and impresses with its speed and print quality. Avinci has an enormous colour gamut. Next to its state-of-the-art imaging performance, it draws attention with its excellent tonal rendering and fine detail reproduction.”
