Wide format and fabric print specialist Colourbox has merged with fellow wide format print supplier and wall graphic expert Smudge Digital.
The companies say that the merger provide better services into the commercial, display and exhibition sectors, through both technology and efficiency gains as well as a broader product offering.
Keiran Frost, general manager at Colourbox, says, “”Colourbox has become well known in the New Zealand marketplace for supplying innovative fabric print solutions to the trade, so it made complete sense to merge with a leading wide format digital print provider, especially one created and managed by James McGeorge and featuring his expertise and experience.
“In looking to expand Colourbox’s offering we realised that James shared many of the same ideals as us, and his product range and ethos complemented ours. Bringing both companies together means we can offer our clients a superior service and a broader range of solutions. We’re looking forward to developing a much broader and deeper print expertise in-house.”
Part of the Brandstand group of companies, based in Albany, Auckland, Colourbox supplies printed fabric display solutions to various brands, architects, graphic designers and fashion designers. Smudge Digital provides its clients with wide format digital print solutions, as well as self-adhesive wall graphics through its specialist division, Sudden Impact.
