Digital manufacturer Oki will make its first foray into wide format market with the launch of its new ColorPainter inkjet printers, set to debut at this year’s Sydney Visual Impact, which opens tomorrow.
The company says it has equipped its ColorPainter models with industrial-grade print heads and drop-on-demand Piezo inkjet technology for high resolution and sharp detail. The line-up includes the range-topping H3-104s with maximum media handling width of 264cm and eight ink colours.
ColorPainter presses use eco solvent SX inks, which offer high UV stability, scratch resistance, a wide colour gamut, and what OKI describes as ‘unrivalled black colour depth’. Oki says its wide format presses have application for indoor and outdoor printing, including paint replicas on canvas media, vehicle wraps, wallpaper, as well as banners, labels, and stickers.
Antonio Leone, marketing manager, OKI Data Australia and New Zealand says, “With speed, precision and reliability at their core, together with value, versatility and quality, the game changing ColorPainter range is destined to become the solution of choice for discerning users.”
Visual Impact takes place at the end of this week from September 15-17 at Sydney Olympic Park.
