Müller Martini will showcase a new perfect binder for the lower and medium performance range at the Hunkeler Innovationdays, which takes place in Lucerne from February 23-26. The new perfect binder marks Müller Martini’s entry into a new market segment. The machine works for medium or short runs, down to runs of one copy. The company says the binder offers flawless quality regardless of whether brochures production uses offset or digital printing. Applications include photo books, personalised catalogues, and high-quality brochures. MüllerMartini says the binder offers cost-effective finishing thanks to short set-up and production times. The company will also show a new solution for saddle stitching: the Presto II Digital combined with a Stahlfolder TH 56 folding machine from Heidelberg featuring a flat pile feeder. It says the complete system provides new options for the industrial finishing of digitally printed products. The Presto II Digital saddle stitcher processes digitally printed content from flat pile sheets or web and operators can also use it for products using conventional printing methods.
