The past financial year has seen the company sell six presses, one new perfect binder and a saddle stitcher. In addition, it has had a lot of success on its other range of digital equipment with more than 20 Morgana machines sold since the beginning of the company’s financial year on July 1 2006.
This means that CPI New Zealand has now sold three Komori LS29” presses with the first machine up and running at Thames Publications in Wellington, another coming to Auckland next month at KB Print and the third going to Lithoprint in Wellington.
CPI machinery also has a New LS640 press with inline coater arriving in early March which is going into Centurion Print in Auckland.
On the finishing side, a New Wohlenberg perfect binder is arriving in two weeks for Printlink in Wellington – the first of its kind in Australasia – while there will also be an Osako saddle binder going to Kale Print in Tauranga.
