Now ecoStar, the first of a new generation of recycled papers, offers a crisp, exceptionally clean white sheet which does not advertise its 100 per cent recycled status.
According to BJBall Papers who have recently introduced ecoStar to the New Zealand market, it is the perfect – and only – option for the increasing number of companies wanting a crisp, clean white, fully recycled, FSC certified paper stock , without compromise to quality or price
.
ecoStar has bulk and opacity with a naturally inherent whiteness because it is made purely from first quality waste that would otherwise end up in landfill. The quality of the waste means it does not require re-bleaching, another environmental advantage, BJ Ball says.
Independently certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the paper is manufactured at Pont Sainte Maxence , France, in a Process Chlorine Free environment (PCF) under ISO 14001, the internationally recognised high quality environmental management system, The entire production chain incorporates a system allowing for traceability of the raw materials used. Monitoring of water treatment, energy usage and waste recycling ensures continuous improvement.
The waste collected to make ecoStar comes from within a 50km radius of the FSC-accredited mill ensuring transportation is minimal, thus producing fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
The paper is available in 100, 120, 140, 190, 250 and 300gsm weights, the lighter of which are suitable for use in laser and inkjet printers.
