Free courses for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator have proved so popular that Sign Supplies, who have sponsored and organised the courses will look to continue them.
Warwick Rule, sales and marketing manager at Sign Supplies, says, “We’ve run the courses to help people stay up to date on the latest product releases, as we know that it can be hard to stay at the cutting edge when you are always working. The courses are broken into beginner and then beginner to intermediate levels so that we can spend more time going over the basics in the beginner course and then expanding in the follow up course.”
The company sees value in having an industry that is Adobe capable and will investigate how to make the most of the courses. He says, “We will look to run advanced courses next year where we will focus on some more specific activities, such as more advanced compositing techniques in Photoshop, but we are also open to suggestions or requests from people as well if there are specific areas they would like us to focus on.
“At this stage all the courses have been Auckland based and we are investigating the option of running either webinars or running them at our four local branches next year to widen the availability for people.”
“All these courses have been free of charge and are open to anyone that would like to upskill or learn something new. If there are any enquiries they can email me direct at warwick@signsupplies.co.nz”
