Wide format inkjet printer manufacturer Roland DG has appointed Daryl Leonard Rio to the role of business development manager for the ASEAN region.
Based in Singapore, he will work closely with Roland DG’s partners to support the company’s expansion throughout the region. Rio has many years of experience in the wide format sector in Asia. He has previously worked as regional application engineer for Colorgate Digital Output Solutions holding responsibility for customer support, sales and distribution in the region and for Berbieri Electroni, providing technical training to distributors and end users, and supporting key accounts.
Most recently, he worked for two years as business development manager Asia-Pacific for software company Aurelon, where he worked closely with distributors, building relationships and looking for new business opportunities, and achieving growth in new markets.
Roland DG continues to grow its footprint in the ASEAN. It believes Rio’s local knowledge and experience with regional manufacturers will further enhance this expansion.
