Sue Archibald, manager Pride in Print awards, says February 27 marks the final day for entries and urges printers to make an effort to enter. She says, “It’s open for materials printed in New Zealand between January 1 and December 31 2008, and entries may come from any printing process, and be made by any person or company associated with the production or purchase of print.”
Last month Archibald cited Auckland based Logick Print & Graphics as an example of how Pride In Print success can lead to bigger things after the company won an international award with its Pride In Print entry. After becoming a supreme finalist in the packaging section of last year’s awards, Logick’s NZ Rox Jewellery Box went on to win a top prize at the world’s premier packaging awards, the Pentawards in Monaco.
Archibald says, “There will be a late entry opportunity at the end of February but it will save time and money to get the bulk of entries in now.” The awards will take place on Friday May 8.
