Carbon calculation specialist CarbonQuota has partnered with ePS have announced a strategic partnership.
The collaboration will embed CarbonQuota’s automated carbon calculator into ePS’s software printing and packaging. The companies say this will drive sustainable production through verifiable accurate data and a new approach to scoring sustainability. In other words, it will enable printers and packaging converters to score the environmental impact of their work.

The new feature automates the calculation of carbon footprints at the estimation stage and throughout production planning. ePS has integrated CarbonQuota’s carbon footprint database into multiple platforms across Print ePS – including Tharstern, Technique and Pace.

The companies add that automating carbon footprint calculations means businesses can deliver transparent, credible sustainability reporting and stay ahead of evolving environmental expectations.
