John Egan, chairman of the board at Roland DG, says, “Marc was a natural fit for the position. Marc’s extensive knowledge of the business and industry is unsurpassed and provides him a unique insight to his role.”
Margetts, who assumed the position of acting managing director earlier this year, has spent 18 years with the company. He was the first on-road sales person for the company. Looking back on his early days with Roland DG, he says, “In those days, you had to be the sales guy, installer, service tech, dispatch and marketer.”
Margetts holds a bachelors degree in applied science. He says, “I now look forward to Roland DG’s continued foray into new digital technologies to the market such as the recent launch of the world‚s first Print & Cut UV printer (LEC-300). I am honoured and look forward to the challenges that this new role will provide me and the team at Roland DG.”
