Komori has added a new eight-colour Lithrone G37P perfector to its line-up of 37-inch sheetfed presses.
The company recently rebirthed the Lithrone G37 as a new model combining functionality and design and decided to add the eight-colour Lithrone G37P perfector capable of one-pass double-sided printing.
Offering a compact body size, the press offers a range of options including the H-UV/H-UV L (LED) high sensitivity UV curing system; the PQA-S Print Quality Assessment System; and the PDC-SX Spectral Print Density Control with automatic registration function.
The new Lithrone G37P perfecting mechanism has a rotating structure at the gripper that grips the tail edge of the sheet, and has no gripper changes while perfecting, enhancing stable front/back register. Komori says it has eliminated smearing and scratches caused by the rim specific the perfecting cylinder since the perfecting cylinder has a flat surface. The company believes it has greatly reduced the initial cost and the running cost of the press compared to a conventional 40-inch press.
Komori will exhibit and demonstrate the Lithrone G37P at Igas next month.
