Brother says the new partnership will enhance its market offering

Brother International New Zealand has officially launched its range of Konica Minolta bizhub i-Series range of A3 printers for the local market.

The new range of award-winning Konic Minolta bizhub i-Series A3 multi-function devices will extend Brother’s existing line up of business print solutions. It has also confirmed an accessory line up. This will allow Brother to create bespoke device configurations to meet the diverse needs of New Zealand businesses.

Graham Walshe, executive chairman of Brother New Zealand, says, “Here at Brother, we have been doing what we do best for almost 60 years. Brother has grown to be a leading provider of print and imaging solutions. It was only natural that we join forces with Konica Minolta. This allows us to offer our customers an even greater range of printing solutions.

“Now more than ever, we are seeing a need for streamlined and effective online business processes. We recognise the importance of adapting to meet ever-changing demands. Our traditional experience in the office has changed vastly in the last year. We have had to quickly adapt to become more digitised, secure and streamlined in our connectivity.”

Smart technology

The Konica Minolta bizhub i-Series range is a smart technology hub. The company says the i-Series fully embraces the way businesses are evolving and sharpens their competitive edge. It adds that the i-Series incorporates the best of design with high quality performance, enhanced efficiency, and seamless connectivity to improve productivity.

Brother says the high quality performance and innovation that the new bizhub i-Series delivers complements Brother’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. The new fusing unit and low temperature fixing toner help achieve lower energy consumption in operating and sleep modes. Environmental impact is reduced further through the new packaging design. Lighter air cushions replace traditional cushioning material, but still ensure safety during transport. Konica Minolta will also benefit from Brother’s recycling programme. This ensures recycling of old Konica Minolta consumables and hardware components.

Brother offers a comprehensive, local service and support network. The network includes a 24/7 New Zealand-based helpdesk and nationwide support network. Brother will provide full coverage for Konica Minolta products alongside the existing service offering.

Mt Maunganui-based, International Port Logistics provider, ISO has chosen to partner with Brother on Managed Print Services for all its A4 and A3 print solutions. Justin Scholes, commercial manager at ISO, says, “From the start, we knew Brother was a company we could work with. They are professional, transparent, and deliver on their promises. The devices met all our requirements and their cost per page rates were highly competitive. Plus, they are local.”

Brother has replaced ISO’s nationwide print fleet with Brother and Konica Minolta devices, installations from Bluff to Whangarei.
