PrintEx15 has announced a new set of workshops which it says will address the future challenges of the print industry, to be held during the exhibition in Sydney Olympic Park, May 13 to 15.

Phillip Rennell, chairman of PrintEx15, says it is no secret that the print industry is continuing to change rapidly, throwing up a range of challenges for businesses. He says, “Not the least of these is keeping pace with the rapidly evolving landscape and finding the information, ideas and inspiration you need to plan for future profitability. PrintEx15 forums have been designed to help business owners do just that. The future does present challenges for us all, but there are also some very exciting prospects for businesses involved in the sector.”

Rennell says that three concurrent streams will run with a range of diverse speakers. Topics include managing change, print and the environment, the ‘how, why and what’ of innovation, as well as more specific topics such as an update on the NBN challenges in flexo and label printing, and opportunities in areas such as 3D print, polymers and printed circuits.

The programme for the workshops is yet to be released; however, attendance will be free for all PrintEx15 visitors.
