postponed to September 2023
Organisers don't have time to find an alterrnative venue for Foodtech Packtech this year

Foodtech Packtech has rescheduled to April 2021.

XPO, which organises the country’s largest food packaging show, emailed visitors and exhibitors. XPO says it had little choice in changing the dates because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The show has support from throughout the industry and from industry bodies such as AIP and Packing New Zealand.

XPO stated, “No doubt you are all well across the current situation in New Zealand. In light of ongoing developments and current government imposed restrictions, we have made a considered decision in consultation with industry stakeholders to reschedule Foodtech Packtech and The Materials Handling and Logistics show.

“We know that for the safety of our exhibitors, visitors, partners, suppliers, and our own team that this is the best decision to make at this time.

“We are saddened and heartbroken by this outcome. Add to that the pent up demand to attend this show, with high pre-registrations tracking well ahead of same time last show. It has been a very challenging year and we are all digging deep.

We do however remain entirely supportive of the government’s position, regardless of the importance of events to the wider economy.

We look forward to seeing you all in April 2021, until then stay safe.
