The new digital drupa event kicks off this week, with registration for the event free of charge.

The online event includes international speakers, trending topics, key global players, knowledge transfer, and networking in virtual space.

The preview enables print industry professional to learn new format for drupa. Organisers have based the new format is based on three pillars: Exhibition Space, Networking Plaza and Conference Area.

The Conference Area will host short presentations from well known expert speakers. They will provide information about topics relating to the special forums at drupa 2021, such as drupa cube, drupa next age (dna) and the packaging, textile and 3D fab+print touchpoints.

The preview launch features a panel discussion. Participants include Markus Heering, managing director of the German Printing and Paper Technology Association, Christian Plenge, head of Digital Strategy and Communication at Messe Düsseldorf, and Sabine Geldermann, director drupa. Companies hosting at the drupa preview include the likes of Kurz, manroland Goss web systems, and Global Graphics Group.

Visitors and exhibitors can use drupa preview to maintain and expand their business relationships on the market months before drupa. Interactive product presentations and new ways of establishing contacts offer optimised targeting and matching of market participants.

Organisers add that, in the Networking Space, visitors and exhibitors can find each other easily and precisely, even in virtual rooms. They emphasise that participation in the Conference Area, research in the Exhibition Space and networking in the Networking Plaza is free of charge after registration.

The trade fair itself will run from April 20-28, 2021 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
