Online this year: AIP looks forward to welcoming delegates to its virtual event next month

The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will run the 2021 AIP Australasian Packaging mini conference as a virtual event.

The online conference takes place August 17-18.

Nerida Kelton, executive director at AIP, says packaging professionals are looking forward to the event as a virtual edition. She says, “This technical event has served the industry for over 28 years. It brings together people from across multiple disciplines. This includes, for instance, packaging technologists, designers, engineers, and members from sales, marketing, business development, procurement, sustainability and more.

“The event enables attendees to better understand the technical side of packaging design. It also shines a spotlight on best-practice and award winning Packaging Designs. These have received recognition from peers from the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) awards. We will discuss these innovations over the two day event. Many have gone on to win WorldStar Packaging general awards and WorldStar Special awards. In addition, they have added global peer recognition to their achievements.

“You can be be inspired by what other companies are already developing in key industries and markets. Furthermore, you can hear their challenges and learnings through the packaging design journey.

” You will also hear from innovators in Sustainable and Save Food Packaging Design. In addition, experts from Domestic and Household, Health, Beauty & Wellness, Food, Beverage and Marketing will speak. Ultimately, you can walk away with new ideas and inspiration for your next packaging project.

“In conclusion, we know you will enjoy attending the conference next month online.”
