Agfa Graphics has announced an exclusive New Zealand dealership agreement with Jenrite,. effective immediately

Michael Culver, Agfa’s Inkjet manager for Oceania, says, “Jenrite is a business that will sell and support our brand correctly. Their honesty and clear direction made this agreement easy to conclude. Having local support in this region is paramount to success and Jenrite’s technical ability is a stand out. Agfa Graphics already have a significant installation base within the Oceania region and these numbers will grow with this new partnership.”

The partnership encompasses Agfa’s diverse range of Anapurna, Jeti Titan, Mira, and Tauro platforms.

Steven Kemp, managing director of Jenrite, says, “Jenrite’s printer range is quite extensive but we have been missing options in the mid to high volume UV printer segment. After closely looking at Agfa Graphics new LED printers at Fespa 2017, we were very impressed with the image quality achieved at high print speeds.

“The comprehensive range of UV Agfa LED printers includes multiple options for true flatbed, hybrid flatbed and 3.2M roll to roll models. Agfa is a highly successful and credible international brand and, with this agreement, we look forward to introducing their printers to the New Zealand market.”

Agfa says that, with the flexibility to offer hybrid platforms with a printing width of 2050mm, 2500mm, and 3200mm and true flatbed solutions ranging from 2540mm x 1540mm up to 3200mm x 2700mm, the platforms fit many market sectors like POS, signage, exhibition, and commercial. It recently added two dedicated roll to roll machines that can produce speeds up to 180sqm/hr.

The company adds that it supplies the devices with the latest LED curing technology, which offers quick start up times, less power consumption, improved productivity, and in excess of 10,000 print hours prior to thinking about a lamp change. It says that, using Agfa’s new 1500 and 1550 ink technology, adhesion to problematic substrates becomes a thing of the past and that thin ink layer technology helps reduce running costs dramatically.
