Designed to address the growing need for more complex colour management tools and workflows in the sophisticated GA sector, the EFI Fiery XP60 turns the Phaser 7750 into a high quality digital proofer ideal for advertising agencies, design studios and pre-press operations. EFI Fiery XP60 combined with the Phaser 7750 provides professional content creators with a powerful suite of print control, job management and graphic arts utilities to create, print and manage precise quality control and consistency of images.
Fiery Web Tools allows users to apply any Java-enabled browser to perform basic administration tasks and control print jobs. Command WorkStation enables centralisation of print job management in one application.
A variety of advanced printing tasks can be performed easily even by operators with limited knowledge of digital colour imaging. Variable data printing enables users to combine different text and graphics data in order to create personalised direct marketing material. Banners up to 610mm long can be printed with the new banner printing function and the auto trapping and black overprint functions assure clean, crisp text and graphics in multi-layered designs.
At the heart of the XP60 is an Intel Celeron P4 CPU running at a blazing 2.0 GHz for even the most complex print jobs. A 60 GB hard disk drive and internal DVD-CDRW are standard, along with 256 MB RAM (expandable to 512MB). The system comes with WindowsXPe and Fiery System 5.5 pre-installed. For expanded system control, there is the optional Fiery Advanced Controller Interface (FACI) which contains a 12-inch flat screen LCD, PS split keyboard with wrist-rest and a PS2 mouse.
