Designed as a complimentary program to the Summer University in Heidelberg, Germany, the Winter University, to be held from January 15-20, 2006, provides participants with practical management expertise focusing on business strategies, innovative production processes, and sales in print media businesses.

In collaboration with industry experts from Europe and Asia Pacific like the Melbourne-based management consultancy Synthesis Australia, PMA has developed a program covering a wide range of topics.

It offers insights into new marketing strategies, technology trends in the print media industry, finance and controlling as well as standardisation and workflow issues. In order to be well prepared for the future, print and media executives will receive strategic hints on how to find new business opportunities and expand into new areas.

“During our next Winter University, we will support managers discover new opportunities to master the challenges of the print media industry – not just through professional lectures and workshops, but also by networking with other participants,” says Bernd Schopp, Head of the Print Media Academy in Heidelberg.

The open atmosphere within the group of participants from different nations offers many opportunities to exchange views and experiences, during and after classes. Breaks and evenings will be filled with a diverse program of activities and excursions. Enrolment starts immediately. The seminar fee is 1,990 Euro (including accommodation, not including travel costs).
