In 2001 Mr Atkinson co-founded MAKtec to bring the European MACtac range of roll, label and sheet-fed self-adhesive products to New Zealand. He directed the company’s operations until the change of ownership.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in the printing, self-adhesive and paper industries, including a period as national sales manager of a major paper merchant.
MAKtec now operates as an autonomous division within BJ Ball Papers, based at the Penrose site. Customer contact arrangements are unchanged.
