“The first round of seminars was very well received by attendees and proved so popular in some cities that additional days had to be added to meet the demand” said Conrad Birkett – Maximising Flexi Trainer.

Again with a focus on digital printing, topics will include utilising DesignCentral, maximising workflow efficiency, and getting the best colour possible. Since the launch of this seminar in the USA in May and June the seminars have proven invaluable to Flexi owners who have taken the course.

“Mark Rugen, a long established premier Flexi expert in the USA having developed this seminar along with GIA, will personally train the local trainers conducting each of the 1-day training sessions” says Marcus Adler, MD Roland DG. “With over 15 years of experience in the graphics and sign industry, Rugen is the only Scanvec Amiable certified Flexi trainer worldwide”.

“Mark’s unmatched product knowledge and captivating teaching methods made him the perfect train the trainer for GIA’s renowned graphics industry seminars. Obvious from comments made by the first round attendees who experienced his unique technique and vast knowledge passed onto Conrad, our local trainer” continued Adler. “Roland was very pleased with the industry’s response to this important training tool in the Australian and New Zealand sign industries last round so we decided to run it again for those who may have missed out.”

The seminars will feature the Roland eco-solvent inkjet printer along with inkjet media.

Registrations are available by phone at 09-309-8104 in New Zealand. The $299 (incl. GST) cost includes lunch, GIA’s Flexi manual, and an extensive toolkit packed with resources and reference materials.
