The deal which includes the 2006 and 2007 season will see Roland DG support Stone Brother Racing (SBR) team through sponsorship and supply of equipment along with technical support for SBR’s signage needs using Roland DG’s state of the art vinyl cutting and digital print technologies.

At Phillip Island on Sunday 27th November 2005 Stone Brothers Racing (SBR) clinched their third consecutive Australian V8 Supercar Championship. After winning back to back titles in 2003 and 2004 with Marcos Ambrose, team mate Russell Ingall ended a string of four championship runner up positions to bring the SBR Caltex Falcon home to win his maiden V8 Supercar Championship plus secure the Manufacturers Trophy for Ford as well as the Teams Trophy for Stone Brothers Racing.

“Roland DG is proud of this association with Stone Brothers Racing and it makes sense that the champion V8 Supercar racing team should partner with another champion in the digital print industry. Stone Brothers Racing is a focused racing organisation which will provide us with opportunities through its on-track success. This relationship will help to further develop the Roland DG brand name within the Australian Motorsport industry and the general public” said Marcus Adler, Managing Director Roland DG.

SBR Team co owner Ross Stone said ‘We are proud to have formed our association with Roland DG. Our team and our Sponsors demand high standards and our race cars and transporters are viewed by millions of fans worldwide each year so presentation is very critical. With Roland DG’s leading edge technology we are very confident both parties will benefit on and off the circuits and we will be very serious challengers for the ‘Best Presented Team Award’ as well as the Championship with our drivers Russell Ingall and James Courtney’.

“SBR’s recent success in the V8 Supercar Championship Series and Australian motorsport was a very strong factor in our decision to partner with the SBR team, it’s not often you get the opportunity to partner with a proven winning team” stated Marc Margetts, Sales Director Roland DG.
