RIP Manager 3.0, the newest release in the Navigator GPS family of RIP and workflow solutions, incorporates powerful Enfocus PDF preflighting, editing and certification capabilities for PDF documents as a part of the new agreement. The technology platform also supports Enfocus Certified PDF workflows used for optimal PDF quality assurance and for streamlining print production.
The two companies also announced that a special promotional begun in 2005 will now be offered with RIP Manager. Beginning January 3, 2006 and running through June 30, 2006, Xitron customers who purchase either Navigator GPS or Navigator RIP Manager will receive a copy of Enfocus’ Instant PDF software, a $199 value. Xitron customers can either utilize Instant PDF themselves to create specifications queue, or provide copies to their customers, facilitating the creation of quality PDF files that will travel through a PDF workflow without problems.
