Jefferies’ role will be to drive the day-to-day operations in the UK across Duplo’s entire product range and she will be responsible for direct sales, customer service, marketing, consumables and the dealer network.

Ms Jeffries will report to Christophe Bourreau, Duplo International’s subsidiary group managing director, who oversees the company’s subsidiaries in the UK, France, Poland and Italy. With the general manager from each territory reporting into Mr Bourreau, this ensures strategies are harmonised across Europe.

Over the past 21 years, Jan has worked in managerial roles both in the UK and Europe. Most recently, she was a member of the senior management team for global freight company DHL, where she developed a talent for team building and coaching.

“With two new product launches planned for IPEX, there has never been a better time to join Duplo,” says Jefferies.

“The new products, coupled with the exciting news that Duplo has won exclusive rights for the distribution of the Ideal and Eurofold range, means the company’s portfolio is more comprehensive than ever before. The Ideal/Eurofold agreement is set to enhance the UK dealer operation in the office sector through increased sales revenue, as well as strengthen Duplo’s product offering in the graphic arts market. It is my job to make certain the transition flows seamlessly.

Robin Greenhalgh, Duplo International CEO says: “We are delighted to have someone of Jan’s calibre on board. The experience she brings from working across Europe in previous roles will further reinforce the excellent relationship the UK division has with the subsidiaries and distributors in other regions across the continent.”
