Based on synthetic materials, the “papers” can be used to produce everything from weather-resistant planter tags to customised “Do Not Disturb” hotel doorknob signs, or promotional, removable window signs.

The three upgraded lines of Xerox paper – Polyester Paper, DuraPaper and Removable Signage – are designed for use by graphic communications professionals and others and come in an array of extra-durable substrates.

Xerox Polyester Paper is designed for applications including light-weight technical manuals and airline tray inserts to heavy-weight ID cards. Featuring a bright white shade, the paper has a plastic feel and is weather, chemical and tear resistant. Replacing Xerox’s NeverTear product, Xerox Polyester Paper has an extended range of thicknesses, including 3.7 mil to 14 mil.

Also weather, chemical and tear resistant, the Xerox DuraPaper is now available in an extended range of thicknesses – 10 mil and 14 mil – and is available in 11″ and 17″ sizes. The paper has a single layer of an extra heavy-weight coated film on each side that latches on to toner to create crisp, clear images. DuraPaper’s softer feel and durable exterior make the product useful for printing maps, brochures and more.

Xerox Removable Signage features a polyester material for creating point-of-sale displays and window advertisements. Available in clear and opaque films, Removable Signage is engineered to produce high-quality colour graphics and razor-sharp text from Xerox office colour printers and multifunction systems as well as light-production digital presses.

The papers are designed to run through the Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Press and other Xerox digital colour presses, from the DocuColor 240 digital printer/copier to the DocuColor 8000 Digital Press and Xerox Nuvera black-and-white digital systems.
